Steam Conditioning
Whole corn and soybeans are conditioned with steam and pressure before flaking, softening the kernel so it rolls into a dense, uniform flake rather than shattering like dry-rolled grain. This is the step that actually improves starch and protein digestibility — not just a processing shortcut.
Consistent Flake Quality
Flake thickness and moisture are checked throughout a run, not just at startup, so the batch you get today mills the same as the batch you got last month. Producers feeding a set ration depend on that consistency to keep intake and performance predictable.
Handling & Storage
Flaked product moves straight from the mill into clean, covered storage and loadout, minimizing the time and handling between processing and your truck. We inspect equipment and storage regularly to protect flake quality and prevent contamination.
